Total Addiction

I’m totally addicted to iTunes!  I’ve discovered you can buy television shows from it. (yes, I’m a late bloomer, sometimes)  I have all of the starter wife now (or at least up to the current episode-which is what I’m doing tonight-watching it with my popcorn!

On a side note, I’ve discovered something in the last two days…people are nasty.  Not nasty as in their words, but their living conditions.  Since I’m now the assistant manager of our apartments, when we have no cleaning  person, I get to do the job.  I have spent the last two days cleaning out two apartments.  My God!!!  The manager and I were shocked to see the condition of that apartment…gross!  Needless to say, I wore a dust mask and rubber gloves.   So, for the record, here are a few tips if your an apartment liver:

1. Clean out the oven every few months.  Mr. Muscle works wonder, you spray it on, leave it for 2-4 hours and everything pretty much wipes up.  If it doesn’t, you can actually scrap the stuff off. Trust, me, it will save your deposit.

2. Clean out the window sills..you know that thing your windows slide around in?  Yeah, give it a swipe quarterly, again, a huge deposit saver.

3. Mini blinds-you can actually take them down and soak them in the tub (yes, they will wipe off easily, then).  This is a HUGE deposit saver.

4. Mold/Mildew in your tub…I have one word…bleach…use it generously.

5. Clean your toilet…yes, some people have to be told this.

6. Wipe out your cabinets peridodically.

Six simple things that will make moving easier, trust me.  Sheesh….
