Yarn Emergency Diverted!

Whew, that was a close call. We almost had a national yarn emergency..hmmm, we should have something like that whole amber alert thing. Ann, my beloved goddess from “Mason-Dixon Knitting” had an emergency happen. She was flying back from New York with the samples for their new book, she landed in one spot, the bag continued on to another. (Photo shoots apparently have to happen in Manhattan, like Nashville isn’t picturesque enough). So, anyway, the nasty airline misplaced that bag! Of all the things to misplace, not the knitting samples for the book that I would do almost anything to get my hands on! Gah! (That’s how this became a national emergency and not just a region to region emergency….I live on the west coast and it affected me..so therefore…NATIONAL EMERGENCY!)

Said bag showed up today and Ann has it in her hot little hands, where it is safe and sound. I firmly think all photo shoots from here on should be in Nashville where the samples will NOT HAVE TO TRAVEL until they are fully photographed, drooled over and posted for posterity. After the book comes out, they can fly coach to any destination they choose!

As we have learned from this, there needs to be some type of alert that can go out.  With as many knitters are there are, we could be on the look out for the lost knitting!
