More than you wanted to know!

I’m 40! Considering I didnt’ think I would make it to 21, this is really kind of cool.

I’m also a college student. A series of “unfortunate events” led me back to seeking a degree (fortunate event).

I live in the Pacific Northwest, but grew up in the South. Therefore, I love sweet tea and can inhale some serious seafood.

I’m an avid knitter, reader and crafter.

I also sew, although my ideas are way more ambitious than my talent at the moment.

I’m not afraid to tackle anything once, twice if I like it.

I love dogs and I have two of them. Maggie is our labrador and Templar is our Border Collie mix. Templar loves to “herd” yarn, which means my stash is locked up safe and sound.

I also have a huge stash of yarn, of which I’m actually quite proud of.

I have a husband but no kids (enter fur babies).

We also have a cat whose name is Ford…he came out of the engine block of our Ford truck (plus I am a huge fan of the Hitchiker’s Guide the Universe). I have red hair and green eyes, but yet, I’m not Irish!

I’m a Navy brat, I have been to 57 countries and have lived in four different countries.

I’m not christian but believe that everyone has a god that is their inspiration and motivator. I believe in faith and in treating my fellow human beings with as much dignity as I can muster up.

I believe in saving the planet (although lately, with some kids…I’m not so sure they deserve a future?).

I try to live as eco-friendly as I can.

I’m a Stargate fan.

I hate game shows and talk shows.

I love my “adopted” parents. It’s not official, but I wish it were.

I love green and purple and pink.

I hate mushrooms.

I get bored easily

I was born on the day the Apollo 1 was destroyed. (I actually was born 1.5 hours after the fire!)
